This is my first season in hawaii and its pretty sik. I've been here two days and ive already snapped a board and experienced free starbucks in the morning (courtesy of jamo). It is massive, onshore and cold. More updates when theres waves!

R.I.P Wade McCurdy

Everyone that knew wade would agree with me that he is one of the best guys especially to get pissed with. So everyone have christmas beers for the best guy ever, I know i'm having my fair share. I still can't believe wats happened, all my love goes out to the McCurdy family and everyone thats mates with Wade. We have all had so many sik times with you and you'll be in our hearts forever. I love you man and I miss you so much, I will never forget you mate and keep rockin like you always have! Love your mate Alex

First update in a while!

Since last time I was on here a lot has changed. I went to bali for a swell with Turoy, Luehman, Backshall, Tommy Hannam and Spewan Donnachie. Ive gone through another car that Jake Stone kindly gave me and now I have $2.82 in my bank. It broke down last weekend on the new bypass and had to get towed back to perth. If I wasnt with RAC it would have cost over 2gees. Latley I've just been trying to get as many shifts I can at ebb to save up for hawaii and a new car. Might be getting a labouring job for a few weeks as long as I can borrow my mates car that moved to canada for a a year.

Sooty Hospitalized

Yesterday I got back from hanging with my good mate riggaz for a few weeks around the WA hoax coast. We drove so many KMs over the last few weeks and on the way home my holden apollo conked out near my house. I call her Sooty because I threw the hub caps in the bush because they were lame as hell and my mate Mitchy Woodland for some reason thinks black stock rims are called Sooties. It's pretty flogged from taking it down 4WD tracks and doing burnouts. Now it makes fucked up noises when I turn it on so I need to get her checked out before I drive it anywhere. Hang in there mate!

Riggaz (Tom Rigby) has been over for the last 2 weeks and the waves have been shit. We have had about 4 sessions worth surfing but nothing really good. We had to do tow outs a lot because of the shit conditions. Here are some of the highlights.

The Farm

Lately the conditions have been terrable with onshore winds and messy swell. Yesterday I decided to drive down south to bunker bay, I wouldn't usually travell that far to surf the farm because it's a pretty shit wave but I was desperate. (all photos by Alex Miller)
